MeMeMe Coral vs Benefit Coralista

Hi ladies! Today I've got a comparison on MeMeMe Blush Me! in Coral and Benefit's Coralista boxed blush.

Availability: I purchased my MeMeMe blusher at Superdrug, and as far as I know, that's the only shop where MeMeMe is available, unless you purchase online. Benefit products can be found at select Boots and department stores with Benefit counters, and again, online. So both are pretty widely available. (ALTHOUGH, Benefit is found in both the UK and USA, while MeMeMe is only available in the UK)

Price: 24 pounds for Coralista vs 8.50 pounds for Coral. Obviously, the MeMeMe blusher is less expensive than the Benefit blusher.

Amount: You receive 12.0g (0.42 oz) of the Benefit blusher and £10.63 per 10g for the MeMeMe blusher so if I've done my math correctly, that's about 8 grams of product you're getting with the MeMeMe blusher.

Conclusion: So while both blushes are pretty widely available, (in the UK anyways) the Benefit product is more expensive, even with the fact that you receive more product taken into account.

BUT, are they even dupes??

Nope. As you can see, Coralista is far more shimmery and pink, and Coral is more orange. So it all really depends on what you're looking for. If you want a more orange based Coral, go with the MeMeMe blusher. If you want a more pink based coral, and are willing to shell out the extra money for the high end brand, get the Benefit blusher. But I must say, they seem to be pretty similar in terms of quality. So maybe if you do want a pinker blush, grab the pink one that MeMeMe sell? It's all about what you're willing to spend! =)

Hope this was helpful!

Benefit Christmas Haul

Hi ladies! Tonight I've got a post on the Benefit goodies I received for Christmas. I got 3 of their boxed blushes and their Stay Don't Stray primer.

Dandelion Blush:
A very light baby pink blush with a tiiiny bit of shimmer.
Swatch:
I used this today. While it's not crazy pigmented it's pigmented enough to make a nice subtle pink cheek.

Coralista Blush:
A shimmery coral blush. I absolutely love the packaging on Benefit products.
Swatch:
I think this looks gorgeous but I still haven't tried it out on my cheeks yet.

Georgia Blush:
A very light peach color. Smells lovely as well, tehe!
Swatch (in the middle, the one to the right is Coralista) :
It's really hard to see, and to be honest, when I applied it to my cheeks I felt like it didn't show up, but I'll have to give it another shot!

Stay Don't Stray Primer:
This is described as a primer for both eyeshadows and concealers. I always like trying out a new primer so woo hoo!

The thing is, it's pretty pigmented, so I'm not sure how it would work under the eye, especially if that's not your skin color. But then again, I did use WAY too much (be careful, a pump of that stuff is far more than you need) so who knows! I'm curious to see what it's like under the eye.

On the left: no primer. On the right: with primer:
As you can see, the ones with the primer are more intense.

Then I did my test of swiping a tissue over them:
And of course, the primed side holds up!

Does anyone else have these products? Do tell me how you like them!
