NOTD: China Glaze For Audrey

When I did my last China Glaze haul, I knew I had to get the much raved about For Audrey, which was created with the Tiffany Box Blue in mind. It's turning up far more green in these photos than it is in real life, but it's definitely a gorgeous blue green that's well suited for Spring.
It went completely opaque in 2 coats, but if you're less picky than me, 1 coat would of done. I used Maybelline's Forever Strong Base Coat underneath.

What do you think? Do you think it deserves all the hype it gets?

NOTD: China Glaze Sea Spray

How gorgeous is this color!? It's definitely one of my new favorites, especially for Spring time. It's a nice change from the typical pastel pinks, purples, and blues that we often see for Spring. It's like a blue gray and I just think it's gorgeous. It's probably looking a bit more blue than gray in these photos, but I promise you, there's gray in there! :D
I used 2 coats, but it was pretty opaque after 1.

NOTD: Models Own Lilac Dream and e.l.f Glitter Glam

Hi ladies! It's March which means we can now hide away our dark polishes and take out our bright and pastel colors! Which is just what I did the other day.
I used Maybelline's base coat, 1-2 coats of Models Own Lilac Dream, and then layered e.l.f's Glitter Glam over the top. While the e.l.f polish can be a bit goopy, it's just so gorgeous over any color that it's worth the goop. ;)

NOTD: Accessorize "Storm" and Milani "Hi-Res"

Hi ladies! This afternoon I've got a NOTD post for you!
I used two coats of Accessorize's "Storm" and then one coat of Milani 3D Holographic in "Hi-Res". I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out! I think the purple holographic really adds some sparkle and shine to the nails! It's obviously hard to capture on camera, but it turns all different colors of the rainbow in the light and what could make one more happier than looking down at rainbow colored nails!? Hehe.
I was really impressed by the Milani Holographic polish. Whenever I'm back in the US, I may need to grab some more. Or just make a Cherry Culture purchase. ;)

NOTD's: Confetti Masquerade Ball & China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald

Hi ladies! Tonight I've got two NOTD posts because I never got around to putting up one of them a couple days ago, so I just figured I'd condense the two. =)

Confetti Masquerade Ball:
A really pretty dark red color. I like to call it a "big girl" color, hehe. While I love the color, and it was opaque within two coats, I felt like it just looked dull the next day. I assume that's something to do with the $1.99 price tag.

China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald:
One of the colors I got for Christmas. A gorgeous dark emerald that almost has a hint of blue to it. Lovely color, but it doesn't make me swoon every time I look at my nails. I know, I'm so demanding with my nail polishes, I expect so much! ;)

NOTD: Revlon Top Speed Sugar Plum

Hi ladies! Tonight I've got a NOTD post featuring Revlon Top Speed Sugar Plum polish! I showed this polish in a haul post a little while ago and couldn't wait to use it. When I saw it in CVS I quickly grabbed it up because it looked like such a gorgeous color.
And what a lovely color it is! I really like the formula as well, some of the higher end polishes I own take 3 coats and this polish only required 2 and only cost around $6.
What do you think? I'd love to try some more from this range because I remember spotting a few other colors that looked nice, but I'm not sure if this range is actually available in the UK yet. I had a quick look on the Boots site and didn't see them there, but I could be wrong. Anyways! This is a lovely color and I recommend you picking it up if you have the chance.

NOTD: China Glaze Jitterbug

Hi ladies! Tonight I've got a NOTD featuring China Glaze's Jitterbug. I initially planned on using this on my nails for New Years Eve, but then I never got around to it. But I figured it's still close enough to NYE so why not!
I used three coats and I'd explain it as a gorgeous shimmery gun metal color.

NOTD: Christmas Nails

I did this nail look a little while ago, but it's the look I did for the holiday parties with my boyfriend and his family.
Sorry I didn't photograph the nail polishes I used! But the green I used is China Glaze's Jolly Holly, the red is Ciate's Dangerous Affair, and the glitter is e.l.f's Glitter Glam. I used two coats of the red and green and one coat of the glitter.
I wasn't crazy about the overall look because e.l.f's Glitter Glam isn't really designed to be a top coat, not in my eyes anyways. It's too thick and opaque, so that if you apply it too heavy handedly, you end up not being able to see the color underneath. But anyways, it looked pretty enough and reminded me of Christmas ornaments!

What do you guys think? I'm thinking of painting my nails in a couple minutes. I'm thinking Jolly Holly with Party Hearty over the top. Christmas may technically be over, but it isn't for me! Hehe.

NOTD: Festive Nails

I finally got to use China Glaze Party Hearty today! I used it over e.l.f's Moonlight nail polish. I had to use a good 4 coats of it for it to be completely opaque but I figured just as much.
I love it! I think it's so pretty and festive. Perhaps a bit LOUD but hey, Christmas is next week and I want my nails to have SPIRIT. Hehe.

My flight back to America is tomorrow! I'm all packed (I'll have a post on "What's in my makeup bag?" or something like that when I get home, to show you what I narrowed my collection down to in order to pack light) and just praying the snow doesn't go too insane that my flight gets cancelled. Has anyone else used this color recently??

NOTD: Wintery Nails!!

Hi girlies! Tonight I've got a very wintery NOTD featuring Model's Own "Feeling Blue" and e.l.f's "Glitter Glam" I've been needing to do my nails for awhile, but I was refusing until my China Glaze "Party Hearty" got here. Unfortunately, delivery is a bit wonky due to the snow we've had, so I'm hoping it comes tomorrow. BUT, my e.l.f order came today, which I'll be doing a post on tomorrow, but one of the items I picked up was the Glitter Glam polish. And I got to thinking how gorgeous it would look over a baby blue, specifically "Feeling Blue"
Isn't it gorgeous!? Haha, I really love them together. I know they look a lil bright in these photos, but don't worry, the overall look is a bit more muted in person.

I still can't wait for Party Hearty to get here, but this will have to do for a festive manicure for the time being! What do you think?? ALSO, thanks for all the entries to my giveaway, and if you haven't entered yet, check out the sidebar and enter!!!!

NOTD: Nails Inc Savile Row

I picked up this nail polish free with Glamour the other day because I wanted to do my nails but my nail collection is verrrry small (can you believe that??) so I decided since the free Nail Inc's were still going around for only 2 pounds, I'd grab another one!
Nails Inc Nail Polish in Savile Row

I must complain about the drying time on these. They're amazing quality, but they take FOREVER to dry. The first night I did them, I went to bed and woke up with hair marks indented into them....so I had to redo them the next night, and this time, I made sure I waited EXTRA long, but one of my nails still got a bit of comforter marks on it, but it was better than the previous night.

Otherwise, this is a gorgeous dark plum color perfect for this autumn/winter season.

What do you guys think?

NOTD: Nails Inc Jermyn Street

As I'm sure you're all aware by now, Glamour are giving away 4 different Nails Inc nail polishes. I picked up this one in Jermyn Street. I figured I didn't really need any of the others they were offering. =)
I used two coats, to be safe, but this actually looked quite good with just one coat. It applied well and didn't dry any slower/faster than any other nail polish I've come into contact with. But since I had heard of slow drying times, I made sure I let them dry for about 45 mins to an hour before using my nails, haha. I think this is a lovely autumn color and a great addition to my nail polish collection.

What colors did everyone else pick up?

NOTD: e.l.f Coral

Since my last nail polish was chipping and coming off, I decided to do my nails today! I got this e.l.f nail polish in Coral awhile ago, but haven't had the chance to use it until now. It's suuuuch a gorgeous color. I really can't get over how pretty it is, lol. I keep admiring my nails.

It took 3 coats and dries pretty quickly. e.l.f's nail polishes, which are only a 1.50 each, are great quality, and one of the best products, I believe, from their line.

What do you guys think? Do you love it as much as I do?

NOTD: Missguided Splash Missfit

This is the nail polish I got free with Cosmopolitan. It's a black polish with gold shimmer. Only two coats, but the brush is slightly on the small side, so it's not the easiest of applications. Not sure how I feel overall about the color. The gold almost gives it a icky green hue? I dunno. Lol. What do you guys think?

NOTD: No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in Totally Teal

Totally Teal is a very dark teal color that's perfect for the fall/winter. It applies easily and only takes 2 coats! I'd recommend picking it up, especially with the No7 vouchers floating about. =)

Has anyone tried this color yet? What are your thoughts?

NOTD: OPI Lincoln Park After Dark Suede

Seeing as it's September and the weather is getting colder, I figured my pastel nails weren't exactly in season, so I switched it up and went for a darker look, using OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark Suede. It's a dark plum/purple with silver shimmer. Because of the suede effect, it dries quite quickly, and only takes 2 layers.
